We walked downtown for breakfast and to get a Sunpass which lets you pay for highway and bridge tolls automatically. We walked past many beautiful homes and caught some wildlife climbing a wall. We drove back to Fort Lauderdale to meet with friends this evening and tomorrow. We took the slow coastal route back through downtown Miami and Miami Beach. It is just 32 miles but it took close to 3 hours with no stops but lots of stop lights and heavy traffic; about the same speed as our boat. We went for miles on Collins Ave. through the art deco hotel and restaurant district. Tonight we had dinner with Jeff & Marla at the 15th Street Fisheries restaurant on the Intra-Coastal Waterway. We all had fish that was superbly cooked. The restaurant is in a marina and has a pool with large tarpon swimming around and begging for food. Where we ate is upstairs and the bar is on the dock level.
