July 20, Day 17, Tuesday Forest City, Iowa

I attended the Forest City Rotary club meeting at Waldorf University while Mavis did laundry in town. The honey wagon (mobile pump out) came around today and for $20 cleaned out our holding tanks after 6 days. In the late afternoon there were booths set up by each state with food.  We had Brunswick stew made from South Dakota road kill squirrel (so they said). It was very good. Many people dressed up in costumes to reflect the Hollywood theme of the Rally. We celebrated our anniversary with a new 22 ft flag pole that goes on the ladder. Next Mavis wants to fly our kite from it.
