Cumberland River Cruising
Cumberland River - Cordell Hull Lake
The Cumberland River is one of the most historic and beautiful rivers in North America. Some adventurers set out wanting to be surprised. This program is for those who prefer knowing what to expect on the river. Bob and Mavis cruised the Cumberland River in the summer of 2007. This river is one of the favorite side trips for boaters doing the Great Loop with visits to Nashville and Cordell Hull Lake known as Little Switzerland. Over 800 photos and maps will show what awaits you. Most photos were taken by Bob and Mavis Duthie during August 2007 as they cruised the river in the Katy Leigh, a 36-foot 1981 Grand Banks classic trawler. Included is complete electronic copy of Fred Myers' Cumberland River CruiseGuide, 3rd Edition. In addition, Dan Tyler's powerful song "I Am The River is featured in the finale.
